Bile stained, so brownish in colour
Shape : round to oval
Size : 60-70 * 40-50 micrometer
Surrounded by a thick translucent shell with an
outer albuminouscoat ( absence of this layer is
decorticated egg
Contains very large conspicuous granule,
unsegmentedovum
Crescenticarea on each pole
Floats on saturated solution of common salt

Bile stained, so brownish in colour
Shape : narrower and longer
Size : 80 * 55 micrometer
Has thinner shell with an irregular coating of
albumin
Contains small atrophied ovum with a mass
disorganised, highly refractilegranules of
various sizes
Does not floats on saturated solution of
common salt

Non-bile stained, so colourless
Shape : oval or elliptical
Surrounded by transparent hyaline-shell
membrane
Contains a segmented ovum usually with 4
blastomers

Contains a coiled tadpole like larva
