Objectives: identify the three types of reflecting the ideas of the speaker ; recognize the ideas of the speaker in the given video; and reflect on the ideas of the speaker through its content, feelings and meaning on the given video. a. b. c.

Directions: Listen carefully and look at the lyrics in a song entitled “Try Everything” by Shakira. Task 1. Roll and Tell!

Mechanics: Listen to the song. After listening, a student will roll the dice and answer a question.

Directions: Listen to the short speech of Alexa Rose Carlin. Take note of important details or main ideas in the speech. Task 2. Lend Your Ears!
