Stand tall with your feet together,
arms by your sides, and weight
evenly distributed on both feet.
Engage your thigh muscles,
lengthen your spine, and reach
your arms overhead with palms
facing each other.

From a standing position, step
one foot back, keeping the front
knee bent and the back leg
straight. Extend your arms
parallel to the floor, with palms
facing down. Gaze over the front
fingertips

VRIKSHASANA
Stand on one leg and place the
sole of the other foot on the
inner thigh or calf, avoiding the
knee. Bring your palms together
in front of your chest or extend
your arms overhead. Find a
focal point to maintain balance

BALASANA
Kneel on the mat, sit back on
your heels, and then fold
forward, reaching your arms in
front or alongside your body
with palms facing down. Rest
your forehead on the mat.

Start on your hands and knees, lift
your hips towards the ceiling,
straighten your legs, and press
your heels toward the floor.
Hands are shoulder-width apart,
and head is relaxed between your
arms.
