Diagnosis
Diagnosis of folic acid deficiency is
very important for getting good and
healthy poultry production. Folic
acid deficiency can be diagnosed
by-
Blood Test
Treatment
Requirement: 0.75-1mg/kg feed
Supply with diet: 500ug/100gm
Injection : 0.05-0.1mg
Folic acid should be supplied more
than normal level
Prevention
To prevent folic acid deficiency, foods
that are rich in folic acid or Vitamin B9
should be fed regularly both from plant
source and animal sources.
