4. Background 4 My story as a CU student and where vision came into place and mission I always had this desire to make things that looks seemingly difficult and make it simple. When I do this, I go on to teach people around me. So, I had this gift of understanding. My return to CU as a faculty and how God spoke to me about my mission  That was how I was able to define my vision to be a teacher.

5. What is Vision? 1 5 A  vision  is “something” seen in a dream, trance, or religious ecstasy, especially a supernatural appearance that usually conveys a revelation. A vision is generally defined as divine communication. In the words of Joel, quoted by Peter: In the last days, the Lord will pour out His Spirit upon all flesh, and the result will be speaking revelation (prophecy), seeing revelation (vision), dreaming revelation (dreams) (Acts 2:14-21). 

6. What is Vision? 2 6 By the Spirit of God, visions are multiplied, and the communication between heaven and earth is enhanced. One way to  know  if your  vision  or dream comes from  God  is to pass it through the filter of the Bible. That is to see if your  vision  or dream has the same purpose as those found in the Word. Summarily, Vision is the mental picture of the future you desire from the Scriptures, the word of God.

8. What is Mission? 8 Basically, mission means purpose When the purpose of a thing is not known, abuse is inevitable Purpose is what you want to do or achieve based on the vision you have from scriptures

ACCESSING God’s Vision and Mission Be born again God reveals His vision when He knows we are ready and able to receive it. 2 Timothy 3:16 (KJV) 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness : God has a unique vision and purpose for each of His children.  God wants to bring glory to Himself through our lives.  Deuteronomy 29:29 (KJV)29 The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. As you are here now, you desire a great life, but must align with God’s plan, vision and mission for your life. God created you like a manufacturer creates a product and clearly states it in form of a manual (Bible). The dress you wear is in your image. God’s vision & mission will be revealed 10
