What is Food Craft ?
Food Craft is the transformation of raw ingredients into foods with
techniques that change and build flavor, make foods last longer,
and increase the impact of land and place on flavor. Food Craft
businesses produce these products on a commercial scale. Due to
the nature of these products and their inputs, they are best suited
for small- and medium-scale production.
Food craft requires entrepreneurial spirit, manual skills, wisdom,
and a deep understanding of primary ingredients. Many food-
crafting techniques date back centuries or millennia, others are
recent innovations. Food craft is where food and people meet,
where human skills make flavor, where better food is born.

In the temple architecture of India,
the Khajuraho complex remains
unique. One thousand years ago,
under the generous and artistic
patronage of the Chandela Rajput
kings of Central India, 85 temples,
magnificent in form and richly
carved, came up on one site, near
the village of Khajuraho.

Today, of the original 85, only 22
have survived the ravages of time;
these remain as a collective paean
to life, to joy and to creativity; to the
ultimate fusion of man with his
creator.
Khajuraho has the Vindhya range of
mountains as its beautiful backdrop.
This makes Khajuraho a more
fascinating destination to visit.

About 4-5 Lakh tourist visit
Khajuraho every year.
There are about 14 big and
medium sized (3 to 5 Star
category) and 60 small size hotels
are there in Khajuraho to cater to
the tourists visiting these
monuments.
Hence, there’s a great requirement
of an institute which produces such
skilled persons who can cater to
this huge crowd of tourists visiting
Khajuraho .
