Fun Games to Play
While Drinking with Friends or Colleagues

Why Include Games
at Drink Events?
●Icebreaker effect: helps guests loosen up & get talking
●Adds structure & fun to mingle rather than just casual
drinking
●Enhances guest experience – people remember fun
shared moments
●Encourages moderation & pacing when games have rules

●Teams of two (or more); setup of cups in
triangular formation on each side
●Goal: throw ping‑pong ball into opponent’s
cups; if ball lands in cup, that cup’s drink is
consumed by the opposing team
●First team to eliminate all opponent’s cups wins
●Good for larger groups, energetic settings
Game #1
Beer Pong

●Divide into two teams; each player drinks their drink,
then flips the cup upside down by flicking the rim
●Relay‑style: next teammate goes once previous has
succeeded
●Fast‑paced, requires coordination
●Great for competitive fun & boosting energy
Game #2
Flip Cup

●Use a standard deck of cards; each card corresponds
to a rule (e.g. “2 = you pick someone to drink”, “King =
pour into central cup”, etc.)
●Central “King’s Cup”: players add to it; the person
who draws the last King drinks it
●Many house rule variations – can be adapted to the
group’s preference
●Good mix of strategy, luck, conversation
Game #3
Kings / Kings Cup /
Ring of Fire

●Uses two dice; players take turns rolling

●If you roll a 7, 11, or any double: you choose
someone to drink

●If you roll something else, turn passes

●Simple and quick – good for casual downtime
Game #4
Sevens, Elevens,
and Doubles

●Build a pyramid of face‑down cards (e.g. 5 rows: bottom
row 5 cards, up to 1 at top)

●Players also hold cards; when a pyramid card is revealed,
matching cards mean drinks are given out

●Intensity increases toward the top of pyramid

●Good for larger groups; builds suspense
Game #5
Pyramid / Pyramid of Fire

●A card game inspired by Singaporean culture:
hawker aunties, NS stories, local food etc
●Multiple categories: “Story time”, “Vote”, “Take
a sip if”, “Dares”, etc
●Works with alcoholic or non‑alcoholic drinks;
inclusive for all guests
●Adds local flavour: great for Singapore groups
or mixed nationality teams
Game #6
Local Theme Game: “Drink Lah!”

●Know your audience: adapt intensity, rules to
group (corporate vs casual)
●Safety first: encourage hydration, food, pacing
between rounds
●Clear rules: explain how game works so
everyone is comfortable
●Moderation & optional participation: no one
should feel forced
Best Practices
When Running
Drinking Games

●Provide necessary game materials: cards, cups,
dice, ping‑pong balls etc.
●Host / MC role: we can appoint a bartender or
host to manage and explain games
●Tailored game‑package add‑ons (e.g. “Drinks +
Games” bundle)
●Turn‑key set up & coordination: from free‑flow
cocktails to drink games, to ensure smooth, fun
event
