2. INTRODUCTION Galvanic machine was discovered by Sir Luigi Galvani. Current - Direct Current ( Direct continuous Current). A low intensity direct c urrent is used in this machine.

3. WORKING OF GALVANIC CURRENT Galvanic current is a direct current having a positive (+) and a negative pole (-). Principle - Polarity Galvanic current work on polarity principle, where same pole repel each other and opposite pole attract each other.

4. GALVANIC MACHINE CONSIST OF TWO ELECTRODE Active electrode Active electrode is the electrode used in area to be treated. It can be negative (-) or positive (+ ) Inactive electrod e Inactive electrode is the opposite pole of the active electrode. Note - the circuit is formed between the active and inactive electrode.It drives the ions into the tissue.
