Menstruation Menstruation  (also known as a  period , among other colloquial terms) is the regular discharge of  blood  and  mucosal tissue  from the  inner lining of the uterus  through the  vagina .

Menstrual cycle occurs monthly around adolescence in the onset of puberty, resulting in either pregnancy or a menstruation. During menopause, ovary is less active and females stop having menstruation. Also called monthly period, it can vary from twenty to thirty five days with an average of twenty eight days.

You will be divided into 4 learning teams. Each member of the learning team has their own character or job. See the guidelines below. Assign your member with their corresponding task.  

ACTIVITY 1 Provided with the materials, each group will arrange the puzzle and label the phases of menstrual cycle. After 2 minutes, each group will present their work in front.

ACTIVITY 2 – Group discussion Each group will discuss the stages/phases of menstrual cycle LT 1 – MENSTRUAL PHASE LT 2 – FOLLICULAR PHASE LT 3 - OVULATION LT 4 – LUTEAL PHASE

Here are the steps for this exercise. 1. Your group will write all of the facts regarding your topic on manila paper and display it on the walls. You will have 3 minutes for this. 2. During transitions, the designated media will discuss the topic with the opposing team. 3. Each team will provide a notebook to record the information received from the other group. 4. You will have two minutes at each transition to complete the information. 5. Finally, after gathering information, the teacher will pick a team to discuss the assigned topic.
