Professional Snapshot
Seasoned humanitarian engineer and strategic leader with 15+ years of experience in humanitarian, development, and
emergency response sectors. I specialize in Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WaSH), shelter, health infrastructure, energy,
and multisectoral programming, delivering context-driven solutions in Sudan, South Sudan, Syria, Yemen, Gaza, and Ethiopia.
I currently serve as WaSH Technical Coordinator for Sudan and the Global Support Office at Relief International, providing
technical and strategic leadership across six countries. I balance 60% strategic leadership—developing country-specific WaSH
strategies, guiding program design, mentoring technical staff, reviewing proposals and donor reports, and representing Relief
International in global forums—with 40% technical operational support, including emergency response planning,
implementation oversight, and coordination with field offices to ensure compliance with international humanitarian
standards.
Previously, I held senior technical and leadership roles with Save the Children International, GOAL Global, Médecins Sans
Frontières, LVIA, IRC, IMC, and Oxfam GB, designing standalone & integrated multi-sectoral programs, emergency responses,
and infrastructure projects aligned with global humanitarian standards.
