The actual fabric is not
the same as the robe…
the masks fabric is solid
black, but the ones
produced are cheap and
shitty quality fabric.
The eye mesh should be
solid black and never
show your eyes (So
please add solid black
fabric so the mask can
better conceal the eyes.
The strings are supposed
to be tied behind the
head to tighten the mask.
The robe is sparkly… Not
very obvious unless in
the light… and its not to
sparkly. Mostly just black
in dark areas… The
sparkle effect is a must
on this costume.
Glittering the fabric
yourself is quite a
challenge, but will be
incredible to fit the film's
version.
The Hood contains of 2
layers of the fabric
(double-sided fabric to
hide the foam), foam
(thin) inserted into the
front of hood. The
hood should close the
whole neck area
(button system). The
hood also should not lay
on the shoulders, it
should be stable and not
too big.
However… not reveled in
the film. I do know for a
fact something keeps the
hood and mask
connected. As the
button clips being
hidden is a solid
Idea.
Pull strings (Really just
decoration) are under the
neck. Simple strings are
used.
Ghostface’s robe does
have a velcro opening on
the chest. The opening is
from the neck to belly
button.
Also could add a button
on the neck to close it…
The velcro is more
necessary for screen
accurate rather than
actually used to close it.
Every single drape should be 10 inches in width
There are 3 drapes on the
arms. 1
st
goes all the way
down to the knees. 2
nd
is
about 4 inches shorter and
the 3
rd
is also 4 about inches
shorter than the 2
nd
one.
Gloves are attached to
the sleeves and the wrist
is elastic.
The bottom is cut in
random triangles from
what the photos tell .. The
cuts are on the front,
back, and sides of the
robe.
