What are Global Networks?
Global networks are systems that connect people,
organizations, and countries across the world.
They involve:
Communication Systems (Internet, Social Media)
Business Networks (Trade and Commerce)
Cultural Exchange (Music, Films, Food)
Technological Connections (Supply Chains, Gadgets)

Parts of a Whole
A part is a subdivision that makes up a whole system. The whole is
the complete combination of these parts.
Examples:
Human Body: Organs as parts, Body as a whole
Society: Individuals as parts, Society as a whole
How can individuals become productive parts of society?

Primary Identity
-refers to personal characteristics learned from society.
These include:
Values: Honesty, Respect
Attitudes: Fear, Happiness
Beliefs: Cultural Opinions
Example: "Honesty is the best policy" learned from family.

Secondary Identity
-is developed through socialization and includes:
Occupation: Jobs and Professions
Education: Academic Background
Economic Status: Income Levels
Gender Roles: Social Expectations of Men and Women
Example: A student’s role is to study and follow school rules.

Gestalt Principles in Global Networks
Gestalt Principles explain how humans perceive organized
patterns:
Figure- People in a nation with different physical features1.
Similarity- Shared characteristics among countries2.
Proximity- Neighboring countries forming groups3.
Closure- Filling in missing details (Laws and Governance)4.
Continuity- Ongoing connections across countries5.
Symmetry/Order- Stability and Peace6.
