I loved the original Japanese anime film, but sine Scarlett Johansson is white and
not asian like in the film, people started freaking out. To be clear, her character is a
robot, not a human. So I don t really care as much as other people since she actually
looks the part. I would cast her in the film without thinking of the white washing
since she really looks like the character she plays. Plus she killed it in the movie
Lucy, so I knew show could handle to role with ease.
Original Premise: In 2029, the world is interconnected by a vast electronic network
that permeates every aspect of life. Much of humanity has access to this network
through cybernetic bodies, or shells , which possess their consciousness and can give
them superhuman abilities.
What I think will happen is a lot of pervs will complain that she won t be naked
most of the time. In the original, she is super naked, but I don t think they will go
