Human Rights the basic rights that everyone has because they are human beings, irrespective of their gender/race/nationality or any other status Inclusivity creating an environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to contribute, regardless of their background or identity Environmental issues challenges that arise from the way humans interact with the environment. Human Rights in the workplace . Privacy – keeping peoples’ personal information private and respecting their property . Dignity/Respect – everyone should be treated with respect and their dignity should be protected. . Equity- people should be treated equally in the workplace and must have equal rights, status and advantages. . Freedom of speech and expression – everyone should be allowed to voice out their opinions . Information – everyone should know information that concern them in the workplace, it can be from employers, the government or stakeholders. . Safety/security and protection of life – people have to be in a safe environment that is not harmful on their health.

Advantages/Benefits of diversity in the workplace Promotes creativity and innovation by bringing together different perspectives and ideas. Enhance problem-solving skills as diverse teams can approach challenges from various angles. A diverse workplace can improve the morale and motivation of workers. Diversity in the workplace is more likely to contribute to a good public image and attract more customers.

Roles of health and safety representatives in protecting the workplace environment Identify potential dangers in the workplace Promote and review safety measures Ensure that the necessary safety training is provided to all employees to avoid potential dangers. Trained and qualified workers should supervise dangerous equipment when being used.

Responsibilities of workers in promoting human health and safety in the workplace Workers should take care of their own health. Always comply with the rules and procedure of the workplace. Report any unsafe or unhealthy working conditions to relevant authorities or management. Workers must take reasonable steps to ensure their safety and comply with the rules. and restrictions of the workplace
