Why do animals move? Animals move from place to place. * In search of food & water. * To escape from their enemies.

Animals move in different ways. * Fly * Swim * Run * Walk * Jump * Crawl * Slither * Hop

fly * Birds, bats and insects fly with the help of wings.

swim * Fish swim with the help of fins. * Turtles have flippers that help them swim .

Run, walk & jump * Most animals move on legs that help them run, walk and jump . ( Cheetah is the fastest animal) * Birds walk on two legs.
