• The Great Wall was built when seven powerful
states appeared at the same time, to defend
themselves. At that time the wall was 3,107

Gubeikou Section

the Ming Dynasty. It is
located in the Ming
County in the capital-
Beijing.

Security and Protection
 There are some guards standing near the
Great Wall of China and there are a couple
of security cameras. In the watchtowers
weapons are stored for emergency
purposes. But the protection is not major.
Some parts of bricks have fallen down and
it is not clean. This issue has risen up
several times but this did not result in
anything.There should be laws made for the
safety of the Great Wall. It can be
concluded that the security of the Great
Wall is not as tight.

Space and the Great Wall of China
Astronauts found out
that the Great Wall of
China can be seen
from the space shuttle.
Some people have
believed that the Great
Wall can be seen from
the moon but it is kind
of impossible. From the
Moon, Earth looks like
a sphere which is
greenish-blue in
colour.
