Internet protocol is a set of rules that govern the operation of a computer network. This set of rules ensure that information is sent to its correct destination. While traversing the internet, the information is divided into packets. These packets are then attached to an IP address to ensure the information arrives at its correct destination. It consists of a set of rules for encoding documents that are both human and machine readable. XML is designed for content development and management of digital content (text,videos).It is different from many programming languages as XML can not perform computing operations by itself. Instead any programming language can be implemented for structured data management. Many Companies favour XML due to the advantages such as flexibility and self-descriptions. However XML digital documents can be vulnerable to cyber attacks if not properly secured. Lack of support can also be a disadvantage as not all software supports this language.
