2. Digital Media refers to information being communicated through digital images and electronic media. It requires a variety of skills and experiences that are essential for building, evolving and sustaining the digital era. Digital Media involves persons in the fields of content creation, web development, graphic design and mobile app development. What is Digital Media?

3. HyperText Markup Language (HTML) is the set of markup symbols or codes inserted into a file intended for display on the internet. The markup tells web browsers how to display a web page’s words and images. HTML (Hypertext Markup Language)

4. Hypertext refers to the text displayed on a computer screen or other devices that provide links to other text. 5. Internet protocol is a set of rules that govern the operation of a computer network. This set of rules ensure that information is sent to its correct destination. While traversing the internet, the information is divided into packets. These packets are then attached to an IP address to ensure the information arrives at its correct destination. 6. A webcast is the simple livestreaming of a presentation, meeting or physical event from a host (or hosts) to a much larger online audience. It is a one-way broadcast with little to no interaction between the host and the audience viewing online. Webcast

7. Extensible Markup Language/ XML is a markup language and file format used for transmitting and storing arbitrary data(any data in any format). It consists of a set of rules for encoding documents that are both human and machine readable. XML is designed for content development and management of digital content (text,videos).It is different from many programming languages as XML can not perform computing operations by itself. Instead any programming language can be implemented for structured data management. Many Companies favour XML due to the advantages such as flexibility and self-descriptions. However XML digital documents can be vulnerable to cyber attacks if not properly secured. Lack of support can also be a disadvantage as not all software supports this language.
