INTRODUCTION
•Road safety is one of the most pertinent community issues,
the country at large and globally.
• With 93% of the world’s fatalities on the roads occurring in
low and middle income countries, even though these
countries have approximately 60% of the world’s vehicles it is
estimated that if not curbed, road traffic crashes are
predicted to become the fifth leading cause of death by 2030
(WHO).

Improve safety and quality of life for all road users

Conclusions and Recommendations
•KabaleMunicipality roads have the appropriate road signs and
markings in every critical points of any road. However, some
signs were invisible due to erased colors which interrupted our
learning.
•More sensitization on road user behavior should be done by the
concerned authority.
•Deteriorating road signs and markings should be
repaired/replaced.
