•An initiative to integrate Ayurvedic medicines and procedures in
HWCs.
•Piloted in 4 PHCs and 4 SHCs in Kheda district – 2
nd
October-2018
•21 days training curriculum designed for CHO.
•9 Ayurvedic colleges across state identified as training centers.
•337 CHOs trained so far.
• Training includes theory as well as hands on sessions.
• 3 weeks assignment in between training.
• CHOs thus trained are successfully able to provide basic Ayurveda
services.

• Pathya & Apathya
• Ayurveda Treatment
•Includes Yoga, Breathing Exercise, Dhyan, Inclusion of peels, seeds, raw
food, moringa in diet along with ideal method of food consumption.
•So far 1375 participants in 10 districts including 757 ASHA covered.
•All 33 districts of Gujarat will be covered by March 2020.
Reiki
•An alternative healing method using life energy.
•138 HWC staff have received level 1 Reiki Training.
•Training for 200 more HWC personnel has been planned and
will be completed by the end of August 2019.

Saptdhara for health promotion through IEC.
Under Saptdhara initiative different activities are conducted such papet show,
nukkad natak, Music ,Dance etc.

It is composed of Ayurvedic Medicinal Plants that has medicinal and nutritional value.
