The Constitution of Medina ( دستور المدينة,  Dustūr al- Madīna ), also known as the Charter of Medina ( Arabic :  صحيفة المدينة,  Ṣaḥīfat al- Madīnah ; or:  ميثاق المدينة,  Mīthāq al- Madina  "Covenant of Medina"), [1]  is the modern name given to a document believed to have been written in 622-624 CE.
