5 . Women Mobilization through CBOs Network With WES inc. . MSME Support Facility Project MSME Support Facility is a project piloted by WES to provide Economic Empowerment for rural women. The Project is a proponent of the District SME development Program where 500 women are targeted to be developed into SMEs creating up to 2,500 Jobs. The MSME support facility is a community driven program where women with different income generation activities operating as informal and micro businesses are supported through Capacity Building, Innovations, e-commerce and access to market and finance (Credit Guarantee Corporation for MSME) to foster SME Development. WES Inc. facilitates leveraging of funding for its Affiliated LLG Women Empowerment Associations where LLG Presidents are the Chairman of the MSME Support Facility, LLG Women Reps (Sect 29 OLPLLG) Coordinates and CBO groups (Gender & Economic) Participates. BDOs, SMEC ,CEFI and EBF provides Management, Capacity Building , Monitoring & Evaluations . WES Inc

6. MSME Coordination Structure 1. MSME Support Grants from Financiers are Received by WES for its 45 CBOs 2. Women Empowerment Simbu (WES) Receives MSME Support Grants from Program Submitted to Financiers and furnishes MSME reports 3 . Partners; EBF, SMEC, CEFI , Banks provides TNA& Capacity Building, SME Development, M&E, Financial Inclusion, Reporting ..LLG & WES Coordinates 4. LLG Women Empowerment manages data for CBOs , coordinates with partners and reports to WES 5. CBO members subscribe to WES and provides data to LLG Women Empowerment Association , receives MSME Support Grants MSME Funds Flow MSME Reporting & Coordination

SME Master Plan 2016-2030(Extracts) 6.0.3 All provincial governments and Districts must have an SME development plan that is aligned to the National SME Master Plan and inclusive of districts, local level governments and the Wards . 6.0.5 Women and Youth are not active players in economic activity and this must change as these two segments of population caters for more than 70% of the population. 8.2.6 Stimulating SME Development in Rural Areas 8.2.6.1 The Government to create Business opportunities in rural areas, through funding of key catalytic projects and other direct and non-direct incentives in the provinces to encourage growth of Women and Youth owned SMEs.
