Make Hinduism Global
for Peace and Prosperity of the World
The planet earth needs a sense of moral order, ecological
order, energy savings, distribution of wealth and resources
to all, human values, spirituality and an ethical compass.
Hinduism alone can fulfill this role.
Sankrit, Yoga, Bhagwad Gita, Ayurved, Vegetarian food,
Vedc Heritage, Indian music and Bhajans are gaining
world-wide recognitions.
Overseas Hindus are proving successful and are an asset to their adopted
countries. India too has become a global player in trade and technology.

Swami Sivanand said,
To be timid is the greatest sin.
To be selfish is the greatest offence.
To identify oneself with the body is the greatest crime.
To forget one’s own Atman is the greatest sin.
Therefore destroy timidity and selfishness. Abandon
identification with the body and remember always
your essential divine nature.

Thoughts Expressed by Dr Abdul Kalam
Do we have answers to his questions
§ We want foreign TVs, foreign shirts & foreign technology.
Why this obsession with everything imported?
Do we not realize that self-respect comes with self-reliance?
§ Look at Dr Sudarshan (and Nanaji Deshmukh). He has transferred the
tribal village into self-sustaining, self-driving unit. There are millions of
such achievements but our media is only obsessed in the bad news and
failures and disasters. In India we only read about death, sickness,
terrorism, crime. Why are we so NEGATIVE?
§ We complain - Our roads are not good. Public places are not clean. We do
not have proper drinking water & electricity. Our hospitals are over
crowded. India is No.1 in AIDS, Malaria, TB, blind people; We say,
Government is indifferent (towards Terrorism, Bangladeshi infiltration,
demographic imbalance & conversions. It indulges in over appeasement of
Minorities. What has been our duty & Responsibility?)
§ We make boardroom talks against the practice of (bride burning,
infanticide of girl babies, caste hatred, untouchability &) corruption. But in
our own lives we practice them.
§ We know that 22% of our population is illiterate & below poverty line.
What do we do about it.
§What is our duty? How to be Pro-active

1.Do I have enough time for my Dharma?
To begin with, you can speak about Hinduism and share
information you have come across about it with your family,
neighbors and friends. When you have some more time, you can
involve yourself in other higher-level activities.
4.Do I have the qualities to serve Dharma?
Each individual has certain physical, psychological and spiritual
strengths. Serve your Dharma, with any of these strengths.
7.Can I influence others.
Every one of us can influence some one or the other.
Evolve yourself Spiritually and you can influence more people.
How can I Serve Dharma?
for Dharma-abhimanis who are in search of a direction.

Lord Nataraja at CERN Geneva
Next to the 2m statue of the dancing Shiva or Nataraj at the European Center for
Research in Particle Physics in Geneva is a plaque that explains the connection:
"It is the clearest image of the activity of God which any art or religion can
boast of" ...
"Hundreds of years ago, Indian artists created visual images of dancing Shivas
in a beautiful series of bronzes. In our time, physicists have used the most
advanced technology to portray the patterns of the cosmic dance.
The metaphor of the cosmic dance thus unifies ancient mythology, religious art
and modern physics."
Lord Shiva veritably presided over the world’s largest
experiment as scientists today sent the first beam of
protons zooming at nearly the speed of light around the
world’s most powerful particle accelerator at the
CERN laboratory near Geneva in search of the 'God
particle'.

Swami Vivekananda’s Secret for Success
"Each nation has an identity and destiny.
As far as Bharat is concerned,
Hindu is its identity and religion is its way of working"
There is no limit to the power of the human mind. The more
concentrated it is, the more power is brought to bear on one
point. That is the secret.
Whatever you do, devote your whole mind, heart and soul to it.
Conversion is not one Hindu less but one enemy more.
Daridra Narayano bhava; Murkha Narayano bhava.
Serve man serve God.
They alone live who live for others; the rest are more dead than alive.
Have faith in yourself – all power is in you – be conscious
and bring it out. Say I can do everything.

“IIT = Harvard + MIT + Princeton”
“IIT = Harvard + MIT + Princeton” , says CBS ‘60 Minutes’.
CBS' highly-regarded ‘60 Minutes’, the most widely watched news programme in the US, told its
audience of more than 10 Million viewers that “IIT may be the most important university
you've never heard of."
"The United States imports oil from Saudi Arabia, cars from Japan, TVs from Korea and Whiskey
from Scotland. So what do we import from India? We import people, really smart people," co-
host Leslie Stahl began while introducing the segment on IIT.
“…the smartest, the most successful, most influential Indians who've
migrated to the US seem to share a common credential:
They are graduates of the IIT.”
“…in science and technology, IIT undergraduates leave their American
counterparts in the dust.“
“Think about that for a minute: A kid from India using an Ivy League
university as a safety school. That's how smart these guys are.”
There are “cases where students who couldn't get into computer
science at IIT, they have gotten scholarships at MIT, at Princeton, at
Caltech.”

large, but its average living standard is low, and it will stay that way for a
very long time, even assuming that the economy continues to grow at
impressive rates.

How Olympic Medals are won?
Australia
spent 50 Million Dollars on sports to get 50 medals at 2000 Sydney Olympics.
After the Olympics Australian government announced that they will not be able to send
such huge amounts on their probable medal winners for the next Olympics.
All the medal winners went on protest march saying that if the government did not spend
this amount on the sportsmen they will not be able to win the medals in future.
India
India does not spend much money on our probable medal winners.
Some sportsmen including Gold Medalist Abhinav Bindra had
to buy their own plane tickets to Beijing.
Now that Bharat has enough money, we must spend on Infra-structures
(state of the art Training centers, stadiums), Sports Kits, equipments,
proper nutrition for the sports persons, best coaches, managers, officials etc.
We should start training our children from young age.

Yes! women can make a difference if they realize their
responsibility in the society working in the lines of
Maatrutva, Kartrutva, Netrutva.
“In the past 2,000 years, Christians and Muslims, and most recently the
Communists, conspired to wipe out our memories clean of tens of thousands
of years of Goddess spirituality in the Americas, Africa, Europe, the Middle
East, Central and East Asia, and Australia. I offer this book as a small token
of my overwhelming gratitude to the people of India, who in spite of
continual invasions by hostile cultures seeking to impose their own religions
on the subcontinent, fought to keep the light of inner traditions of the Mother
of the
Universe alive.” As said By : Linda Johnsen

Great Indians – Veer Savarkar
•Savarkar emphasised that Hindus and Muslims must come together to oust the
British. He addressed Muslims thus, "We shall fight for freedom along with you if
you join us, without you if you do not, and despite you if you stand in the way."
•Savarkar was arrested at Victoria Station in London on March 13, 1910 on the
charges, among others, of waging war or abetting a war against the King and
delivering seditious speeches in India from January 1906 to March 1906 and in
London from 1908 to 1909. Tried on January 30, 1911, he was sentenced to
double transportation for life -- 50 years. During the trial, a sergeant told him,
"The benign British Government will release you in 1957." Savarkar retorted,
"What makes you think that the British Government will last till 1957?"
•After conviction he was deported to Cellular Jail in the Andamans. He was
tortured, beaten and forced to do manual labour.
•On June 18, 1921 writing in Young India, Mahatma Gandhi wrote about
Savarkar, "He is brave. He is a patriot. The evil in its hidden form of the present
system of Government was seen by Savarkar much earlier than I did. He is in the
Andamans for having loved India too well. Under a just Government, he would be
occupying a just post."
•Nehru also did not give justice to Savarkar
•Savarkar died at the age of 83 on February 26, 1966.

Religious faith in the case of the Hindus has
never been allowed to run counter to scientific
laws, moreover the former is never made a
condition for the knowledge they teach, but there
are always scrupulously careful to take into
consideration the possibility that by reason both
the agnostic and atheist may attain truth in their
own way.
Such tolerance may be surprising to
religious believers in the West,
but it is an integral part of Vedantic belief.

The Hindu religion is the only one of the world's
great faiths dedicated to the idea that the Cosmos
itself undergoes an immense, indeed an infinite,
number of deaths and rebirths.
It is the only religion in which the time scales
correspond, to those of modern scientific
cosmology.
A millennium before Europeans were wiling to
divest themselves of the Biblical idea that the
world was a few thousand years old, the Mayans
were thinking of millions and the Hindus billions.

After a study of some forty years and more of the great
religions of the world, I find none so perfect, none so
scientific, none so philosophical and none so spiritual that
the great religion known by the name of Hinduism.
Make no mistake, without Hinduism, India has
no future. Hinduism is the soil in to which
India's roots are stuck and torn out of that she
will inevitably wither as a tree torn out from its
place. And if Hindus do not maintain Hinduism
who shall save it?
If India's own children do not cling to her faith who shall
guard it. India alone can save India.

"In the family of religions,
Hinduism is the wise old all-knowing mother.
Its sacred books, the Vedas, claim,
'Truth is one, but sages call it by different names.'
If only Islam, and all the rest of the monotheistic 'book'

religious wars could have been avoided.

"The Vedic science movement began in 1893 when Swami
Vivekananda (1863-1902) addressed the World Parliament of
Religions in Chicago.
In that famous address, he sought to present Hinduism not just as a
fulfillment of all other religions, but also as a fulfillment of all of science.
Vivekananda claimed that only the spiritual monism of Advaita Vedanta
could fulfill the ultimate goal of natural science, which he saw as the search
for the ultimate source of the energy that creates and
sustains the world.
Vivekananda and Aurobindo lit the spark that has continued
to fire the nationalist imagination, right to the present time.
The Hindu literature of the early 20th century, especially the writings of Dr
S. Radhakrishnan, Dayanand Saraswati and the many followers of
Vivekananda, is replete with celebration of
Hinduism as a "scientific" religion.

In the First Crusade (1096) flourishing communities on the Rhine
and the Danube were utterly destroyed;.
In the Second Crusade (1147) the Jews in France were subject to
frequent massacres.
The Jews were also subjected to attacks by the Shepherds' Crusades
of 1251 and 1320. The Crusades were followed by expulsions,
including in, 1290, the banishing of all English Jews; in 1396,

were expelled from Austria. Many of the expelled Jews fled to

Christianity is the most ridiculous, the most absurd and bloody
religion that has ever infected the world.
For seventeen hundred years the Christian sect has done nothing but
harm?
'Pagan religion shed very little blood, while ours flooded the earth
with it.
Christianity has deluged the earth with blood for the sake of sophisms’.
(apparently clever but flawed argument).
'Goa is sadly famous for its INQUISITION, which is contrary to
humanity as much as to commerce. The Portuguese monks deluded us
into believing that the Indian populace was worshipping the Devil, while
it is THEY (The Portuguese) who served him'.
(It is Europe’s fortune that the Indians have forgotten this crime on
them.)

Mahatma Gandhiji’s experiences
with Christianity
It was impossible for me to believe that I could go to heaven or attain salvation
only by becoming a Christian. When I frankly said so to some
of the good Christian friends, they were shocked. But there was no help for it.
Chap 40, Page 56
I developed a sort of dislike for it (Christianity). And for a reason. In those days
Christian missionaries used to stand in a corner near the high school and hold
forth, pouring abuse on Hindus and their gods. I could not endure this. I must
have stood there to hear them once only, but that was enough to dissuade me
from repeating the experiment.
Mr. Baker upholds the excellence of Christianity from various points of view,
and contends that it is impossible to find eternal peace, unless one accepts
Jesus as the only son of God and the Saviour of mankind.

Mahatma Gandhiji’s experiences
with Christianity
Mr. Coats wanted to convince me that, no matter whether there was some truth
in other religions, salvation was impossible for me unless I accepted
Christianity which represented the truth, and that my sins would not be washed
away except by the intercession of Jesus, and that all good works were useless.
'If this be the Christianity acknowledged by all Christians, I cannot accept it. I
do not seek redemption from the consequences of my sin. I seek to be
redeemed from sin itself, or rather from the very thought of sin. Until I have
attained that end, I shall be content to be restless.' To which the Plymouth
Brother rejoined: I assure you, your attempt is fruitless. Think again over what
I have said.'
The ancient Jews regarded themselves as the chosen people of God, to the
exclusion of all others, with the result that their descendants were visited with
a strange and even unjust retribution.

Misnomers – 1. Numerals and Decimal Systems are actually Hindu
findings since Vedic Times. Vedic Pancanga has terms like Prathama,
Dwitiya, …. Navami, Dashami, Ekadasi, Dwadasi etc. which mean first,
second, ninth, tenth, eleventh and twelfth days of a month. Eka Dasi
means one more than ten and Dwa Dasi means two more than ten.
Ancient Hindu Number System reached Europe via Arabia. Hence the
Europeans called these as Arabic Numerals. In Arabia these are called Hindusa
ie from the Hindus. Indian numbers and Zero are as old as Vedas
In Vedas, there are two words for Zero – Shunyam &
Pujyam which mean ‘Nothing’ & ‘Respected’ respectively.
Four minus four is Shunyam and when zero is added
to four to make it forty, then the zero is Pujyam.

According to Nirukta, the Vedic dictionary, the word
Hridaya is formed from three words

•the nakshatra in which the moon resides at sunrise
•the yoga active at sunrise
•the karana active at sunrise.

04. Yoga
Yoga computation involves dividing the sum of the longitudes of the sun and moon into 27 parts. First
one computes the angular distance along the ecliptic of each object, taking the ecliptic to start at
Mesha or Aries (Meshādi, as defined above): this is called the longitude of that object. The longitude
of the sun and the longitude of the moon are added, and normalized to a value ranging between 0° to
360° (if greater than 360, one subtracts 360.) This sum is divided into 27 parts. Each part will now
equal 800' (where ' is the symbol of the arcminute which means 1/60 of a degree.) These parts are
called the yoga-s. They are labeled:
2.Vishkambha
3.Prīti
4.Āyushmān
5.Saubhāgya
6.Shobhana
7.Atiganda

05. Karana
A karana is half of a tithi. To be precise, a karana is the time required for the angular
distance between the sun and the moon to increase in steps of 6° starting from 0°.
(Compare with the definition of a tithi above.)
Since the tithi-s are thirty in number, one would expect there to be sixty karana-s. But
there are only eleven. There are four "fixed" karana-s and seven "repeating" karana-s.
The four "fixed" karana-s are:
3.Kimstughna
4.Shakuni
5.Chatushpād
6.Nāgava
The seven "repeating" karana-s are:
2.Bava
3.Bālava
4.Kaulava
5.Taitula
6.Garajā
7.Vanijā
8.Vishti (Bhadrā)

Surgery
“The surgery of the ancient Indian physicians was bold and skillful.
A special branch of surgery was devoted to rhinoplasty or operations for improving deformed ears, noses
and forming new ones, which European surgeons have now borrowed.
SIR W. HUNTER (British Surgeon)
§hinduism and medical science
§SUSRUTA is d first man to perform surgery(salya chikitsa).
he was capable to reshape human deformities.(plastic surgery)
he performed amputations and then replaced it wid prosthesis.
he did a complete scientific study of human body(anatomy) wid unclaimed bodies recovered from
ganges.
he even discovered a method to preserve the bodies for short term(as we do wid formalin nowadays)
so to maintain the stock as dead bodies r not available all the times.

Teachings of the Vedas
Indians in 10,000 years,
§have never colonized any country
§have never looted, plundered and enslaved any country
economically,
§have never condemned other religions as false religions and
converted them to Hinduism
§have never destroyed temples of other religions
§have never called people from other religions as Sinners and
condemned them to eternal hell.
§have never crucified or burnt alive any one whose ideas
have been different from their own.
