Polio ( poliomyelitis ) It is a disease caused by RNA virus called polio virus It spreads mainly by human faeces or interstinal discharge.
protozoa The protozoans ( protos = first + zoon = animal ) are most primitive and simplest animal.
Malaria It is called by protozoan Plasmodium which is present in the saliva of female Anopheles.
Helminths It includes flatworms and roundworms. They cause many disease in man.
Filaria ( Elephantiasis ) It is caused by filarial worm Wuchereria bancrofti. The filarial worm is the parasite of man living in lymphatic and connective vessel.
Fungus Fungi are non-green plants and includes mold, rusts and puff balls.
Ringworm It is a fungal disease which affects the skin, hairs or nails of a person.
