Introduction 01 The Problem Defined

Introduction When we think about using data and software to improve healthcare as an objective, our first thought is usually about reducing the cost of healthcare, but another goal that has emerged recently has been to improve the overall health of individuals by perhaps identifying a person's health risks sooner, rather than focusing on a diagnosis that is based upon reported or observed Healthcare data or health information is defined as data relating to a person's medical history, which includes symptoms, diagnoses, procedures, and outcomes. The purpose of this healthcare information is to provide useful and meaningful insights so that it can be used properly and effectively to achieve an objective.

“During the history of medicine, we have not been involved in healthcare; no, we've been consumed by sickcare. We wait until someone is sick and then try to treat that person. Instead, we need to learn how to avoid illness and learn what will make us healthy.” —Linda A. Winters-Miner, PhD

What is dialoguing? Patient dialoguing can help healthcare by identifying risks and making predictive recommendations. It’s characteristics include: Symptoms reported by patients Questions asked by physician or/and patients. Length of conversation during consultation For this presentation we will be using the provided data.

Techniques 02 The Tools Available

Data collection techniques Gathering and reviewing data Analysis using tools

Building the project Part of dialog data file

Building the project Patient history section

Building the project Link to sheets

The task 03 And the challenges faced with each of them

The task The task was to use IBM Watson Analytics to review our results and get this:

Challenges faced IBM Watson Analytics is no longer available The task was to create predictions but the tools we had access to could not perform those functions. Tableau is for data visualization Excel for data presentation and visualization IBM Cognos for data visualization and analysis

Results 04

IBM Cognos

Comparison between data fields

Tableau

Analysis 05 Comparing gotten results from expected

The results that could have been gotten if IBM Watson Analytics was used.
