The meaning of Hengtong or hengtong is Prosperous.
Hengtong was established in 1991, in a small town 2.5 hours West of
Shanghai called Qidu, on the banks of lake Taihu .
It started as a single workshop, producing only copper communication cables.
Its founding member is Mr Cuiand he is still active in the business and sits on
the board of directors.

11. Qidu, (HPC/HSW/HWC/HFF)
This park is home to several different factories of Hengtong with a total area of 800,000m².
The test laboratory has received 3

party accreditation from CNAS (NATA), TUV Rheinland, and VDE.
Contains: 9 x 35kV CCV Medium voltage lines, 3 Rubber CCV lines, Low Voltage Lines and Fibre Cable to name a few.

13. Qidu, (HPC North, HSG)
Situated a few km’s from HPC and HSW is HPC North and HSG and are extensions to the latter.
There are two parts of to this facility. The HPC North part produces small diameter Low Voltage Power and Control Cables.
HSG produces OPGW.
HSG was previously a joint venture factory between Fujikura (AFL) and Hengtong known as KFH to produce OPGW.
As of the first Quarter of 2019 we purchased balance of shares from Fujikura to be 100% owned by Hengtong.

14. Changshu, (HHV, Submarine)
Comprised of three factories within the High Voltage Park. Medium and High Voltage Land Cable, Submarine Cable and
Optical Submarine Cable.
The VCV tower sits at 180m in height. The tallest in the world.
Contains: 6 x 500kV VCV, 2 x 220kV CCV and 1 x 35kV CCV lines.
2 Wharfs, with a capacity of 20,000 tonnes each.
