3. 4 The Problem Statement In our day-to-day life, shoes are a necessity. These are such necessities which get dirty easily and need to be cleaned regularly. It is sometimes embarrassing too, if your shoes are dirty. There is a solution for such a problem which can change the looks and grooming of your shoes in a dazzling way . www.YouthIdeathon.in

4. 5 The proposed solution To solve such a problem, we have come up with an idea. This idea is inspired by a Tokay Gecko. In this idea polyester is to be used to cover the shoe and radium would be used in making small hair-like projections. Being made of radium, the very tiny hair-like projections would have the glow-in-the-dark ability. This would make a dust-resistant and water-proof shoe. www.YouthIdeathon.in

5. 6 How the solution / idea works ? (The working model / design) In this idea a dust-resistant and water-proof shoe is to be made. The shoes would be made from canvas but the outer layering of the shoe would be done with polyester which would not absorb water or let dust sit on it. The purpose served by the small hair-like projections is that when dust particles come in contact with the shoe, it gets entangled in the hair. When the dust sits on the shoe, the polyester stretches itself and the dust is removed. www.YouthIdeathon.in

6. 7 What makes the idea great ? What makes this idea great is that it would not only help to keep your shoes clean but also make your shoes style in a unique way.
