2. DESIGN PROCESS STANDARDS & DESIGN SOFTWARES
DESIGN & MANUFACTURING STANDARDSDESIGN SOFTWARES
During the design process, 
latest softwares  such as SAP, 
Staadpro, Etabs, Autocad, 
Tekla,… are applied.
WORLDSTEEL GROUP currently adheres to the following 
American standards. However, we can design according to 
the specific requirements of our clients, including American, 
European, Japanese, or Vietnamese standards (TCVN). 
01. ARCHITECT DRAWING
Receive client’s required information such as architect drawing, 
location, load,… to propose solutions that are suitable for the 
client’s budget.
02. DESIGN AND CALCULATION
Engineering experts offer optimal design solutions that meet the 
original architect requirement and comply with the standard code.
03. APPROVAL DRAWING
Submit to client the APD Drawing including: Anchor Bolts Plan, 
Cross Section, Sidewall & end wall elevation and connection detail, 
to help client check with the architect and approve.
04. BIM MODEL DESIGN
Build 3D models to double check the architecture and structures, 
make sure there are no technical issues before releasing fabrication 
drawings.
05. SHOP DRAWING
Implement and issue detailed shop drawings for the project
06. ERECTION DRAWING
The erection drawing is shown with Marked Part Number of all 
Steel Components to avoid the mistakes in the erection stage. 
The Erection Department cross - check the drawings and erection 
solution during the fabrication stage.
07. AS-BUILT DRAWING
After completing all stages of construction and erection, the 
Engineering team will make as-built drawings for the project 
based on the design control process and actual construction at 
the construction site.

After the success of the Tien Giang TongWei project, WORLD 
STEEL was trusted by the investor TONGWEI group, continuing 
to undertake the Hai Duong TongWei project. This is a key project 
in the North, after completion, the factory will provide aquatic 
food for the whole Northern region. WORLD STEEL is the EPC 
contractor of the Hai Duong Tongwei project.

a groundbreaking ceremony on August 16, 2023. 
With a total area of 20,000m² , total capacity of 
200,000 tons per year. Once completed, the factory 
will provide a full range of high quality products to 
farmers in the Western market - a key seafood region 
of Viet Nam.
