Hind Kusht Nivaran Sangh (Indian Leprosy Association) is an old and prestigious body of people committed towards treatment, rehabilitation of leprosy patients.
Leprosy /ˈ lɛprəsi /, also known as Hansen's disease (HD), is a chronic infection caused by the bacteria Mycobacterium leprae and Mycobacterium lepromatosis .
The Hind kusht Nivaran Sangh was founded in 1950 with its headquarters in New Delhi .

Its precursor was the Indian Council of the British Empire Leprosy Relief association B.E.R.L.A) which was renamed as LEPRA in 1950.
The association renders financial assistance to various leprosy homes and clinics.
The association also focuses on health education, publications 7 posters, training of medical workers & physiotherapists (in research, field activities)
The association is vested with the responsibility of organizing ALL INDIA LEPROSY WORKERS conferences and publication of “Leprosy in India” a quarterly journal.
The sangh has branches all over India & works in close cooperation with the government and other voluntary agencies.

Capacity building Training (Training of trainers). Socio-economic empowerment of Leprosy affected persons.
