Sensory Ganglion
Autonomic Ganglion

Slide Content

Ganglia
Sensory Ganglion
1. Large Pseudo Unipolar Neurons are arranged in Groups
that are separated by Bundles of Nerve Fibres
2. Each Neuron has a Vesicular Nucleus with a Prominent
Nucleolus
3. The Neuron is surrounded by a Ring of Satellite Cells

Autonomic Ganglion
1. Consists of Multipolar Neurons which are scattered
amongst Nerve Fibers
2. Satellite Cells are present, but are less Prominent than in
Sensory Ganglion
