CONNECTIVI T Y Rail w ays : J odhpur railway sta t ion is t he divi s ional  headquar t er s o f th e Nort h W es t er n Railway s (N W R). It is well connec t ed with rail w ays to major Indian ci t ies. Air : Jodhpur Airport is one of the pro m inent airports  of R ajasthan. It is pri m arily a military a irbase with a ci v il enclo s ure to allow for ci v ilian a ir tra f fi c . Due to Jodhpur's s t rategic loca t ion, this airport is regarded as one of the mo s t important ones for the Indian Air F o rce. Road : Jodhpur is connec t ed by road to all m ajor ci t ies in R ajas t han and neighboring s t ates like Delhi, Ahmed a bad, Sura t , Ujjain, Agra et c . 

T OURI S M Jodhpur's most notable attra c tions are Mehra n garh F o rt, U m aid Bha w an Palace, Jaswant T h ada, and the Ghanta G h a r , or C lock T owe r . T ouris t s are al s o within p roximi t y to F ort Auw a , Man d ore, Kaylana Lake and Garden, Balsamand Lak, M andaleshwar Mahad e v T emple (Mandaln a th), R atanada Ganesh T em p le, Sardar Sam a nd Lake and Palace, M asooria Hills, V eer D urgadas Smarak (monum e nt, park a n d museum), Bhim Bhirak Cave, and Ravan Ka M andi r , the only R avan t emple in I ndia.
