Homeopathic Pharmacy Definition :- It is an art and science of identification, collection, combining, compounding, preparing and preserving different drug substance which which are secure from different sources rule & regulation according to rule & regulation of homeopathic pharmacopia and dispensing them according to physian prescription aspect which regulate proper distribution of drug & medicine.

5. Identification :- Before using drug they should be properly identify & we require help of botanist or zoologist or chemist should be taken & drug substance which are available in powder form. Collection :-How to collect drug substance in its original form it include indiginious or exotic drug so this drug collected at proper step and prescribe time so that it contain active the active principle or alkaloid. Ex- 1)Flower they are collected then they are partly in bud and partly in blossom state. 2)If fruit are ccollected they should in fully right condition. Combining :-It means mixing or joining two or more thing together to form mixture which is called as mechanical mixture.

6. Compounding :- It means mixing of two or more element together to form a new product which gives new property or new product after combining like, 1)calcium carbonate we prepare drug calceria card. 2)from Mn1 P we prepare drug magphos . But according to Dr.Hahnemann we should not mix two drug. According to his law i.e. law of simplex. Means single simple substance should be administer at which are available in nature & they do not so this law of simplex is follow only at the time of administrating medicine. Preparing :- Include mother tincture and dilution they are prepared by different method i.e. by old hahnemannian method. Which include different classes i.e.class 1 to class 9 and new method of preparation of ‘Q’ which include masiration & preparation & further dilution are prepare in different potency by apllying potentization method i.e.trituration succision .

7. Preserving :-How to preserv a drug, mother tincture and potentize medicine so they are preserve according to rule & regulation given in official pharmacopia every drug is preserved according to their property but they common place for preservation. Cool,dry dark place odered drug substances should be preserve separately. Because strong smelling drug substance can destroy the prop of other drug different acid also preserve according to their property . Quality Inspecting :- Not only identification but quality of drug should be tased physically,chemically if required microscopically by applying analytical procedure. Use different reagent & Instrument. Quality control :-All medicine & drug and the prepare product must be carefully control & its quality of jeninuees should be tasted. It insures that the medicine content essential quality or property & it does not contain any impurity.

8. Standardization :- drug or medicine prepare must be made to confirm some standard prescribe in official pharmacopia & whole procedure of standardization contain testing or evoluting in different drug through its colour,test,odour and its action. Dispensing :- it means preparing & serving medicine for the patient in different form like solid & liquid for taking form for administrating medicine externally. It is given in such a form that after administrating to the patient he should get cure.

9. Branches of pharmacy: Proper pharmacy :- which include official pharmacy. Galanical pharmacy Other branches Official pharmacy Extemporous pharmacy Therotical pharmacy Practical pharmacy

10. 1) Proper pharmacy- Official pharmacy :- it is the first part of pharmacy which contain prep. Of drug . according to official pharmacopia in that prep.some procedure are carried out which are conventional method. This part as it is carried out with the help of official pharmacopia . It is therotical part of pharmacy . Extemporous pharmacy :- last part of pharmacy which include prep & distribution of drug according to prescription of physical it is practical part of pharmacy . 2) Galanical pharmacy :- A second sanctuary greek physian he discover & introduce his own method & theory. This branch deals with preparation of crude drug hence it is not excepted by true homeopathic physian .

11. 3)Other branches:- a) Therotical Pharmacy :- it consist of physical & biological assyment of different drug as well as different courses. Which are trend by pharmoyst & that why it is therotical in nature. b)Practical Pharmacy :- it consist of various aspect of manufacturing which also include professional & hospital pharmacy with practical portion & biological assessment with dispensing of medicine. As this branch deals with practical part it is known as practical pharmacy or operative pharmacy.
