H omeostasis

The protection of the internal environment from the harms of the fluctuations in the external environment. The homeostasis keeps the internal environment in narrow range with various control systems compared to wider external fluctuations. Homeostasis compels the adaptations in the constant changing conditions and contribute to the evolutionary process.

Homeostasis does not mean to keep a fixed internal environment as changes maintained within a specific range are necessary for the normal body functions. For example, water availability within the body.

Control system Receptor Control center Effector Component that detects the change, as it has set point. It turns on the mechanism to bring the abnormal change to the set point. The component that work to bring change back to the normal as ordered by the receptor.

Math English Science Curriculum Highlights Mr. Smith incorporates hands-on activities and games to reinforce math concepts such as addition, subtraction, and geometry. Students engage in daily read-alouds, guided reading groups, and independent reading time to develop literacy skills. Through experiments and exploration, students learn about topics such as plants, animals, and the environment.

Learning Activities 2 3 Differentiated Instruction Real-World Applications 1 Hands-on Learning Promote active learning with interactive experiences like science experiments and group projects to encourage exploration, creativity, and collaboration. Tailor instruction to accommodate diverse needs and learning styles by offering individualized learning, small group activities, and flexible grouping to support each student at their own pace. Enhance learning by linking classroom lessons to practical experiences like field trips and guest speakers, allowing students to apply knowledge in real-world settings and develop a deeper understanding of learning.

I prioritize collaboration and teamwork in learning by encouraging students to work together, share ideas, and learn cooperatively. Creating a supportive environment fosters essential collaboration skills and a sense of belonging among students. My Teaching Philosophy I focus on nurturing students' intellectual, social-emotional, and character growth to develop compassionate, responsible, and resilient individuals who can positively impact society. In teaching, active engagement, hands-on exploration, interactive activities, group discussions, and real-world applications are utilized to foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity, aiming to inspire curiosity and a passion for lifelong learning. My teaching philosophy focuses on student-centered learning in a supportive and inclusive environment. Valuing each student's unique strengths, I aim to nurture confidence and a love for learning.
