Indigenous root dance The song of La Tusa is a folkloric melody from Honduras that talks about the leaf that surrounds the corn. These dances have an authentic rhythm and are mainly influenced by pre-Columbian culture. Among the best-known songs that use this dance are: La Tusa, La Cadena and Sos Un Ángel. The folk song of La Tusa refers to the leaf that wraps the corn. In Honduras the tusa is used to make crafts, so this song is truly representative of the culture. In addition to that, Honduran cuisine is corn-based. 20/07/2024 7
