Existing System
Existing system:
Hospitals currently use a manual system for the management and
maintenance of critical information.
The current system requires numerous paper forms, with data stores
spread throughout the hospital management infrastructure.
Multiple copies of the same information exist in the hospital and may
lead to inconsistencies in data in various data stores.

The Hospital Management System (HMS) is designed for Any
Hospital to replace their existing manual, paper based system.
The new system is to control the following information:
 patient information,
 Doctor availability,
appointment system,
patient prescription and patient can be seen by online
 History and patient can be give appointment by online.
 Also Count Death and Birth report.
These services are to be provided in an efficient, cost effective manner, with the
goal of reducing the time and resources currently required for such tasks.

Administration:  
This module handles all the master entry details for the hospital
requirement such as
consultation detail,
 doctor specialization,
 Receptionist,
Nurse,

Laboratories etc. 

9. Doctor and Patient Module
Doctor:
A doctor can be managed following this:
Prescribed
Appointment approve
Add medical report
Patient :
Hospital management mainly focus for patient’s facility Patients can get this
facility given below:
Access in own profile
View prescription in online
Get appointment in online
View diagnosis report

10. Reception Module
Reception:
The reception module handles various enquiries about the patient's
admission and discharge details, bed census, and the patient's
movements within the hospital. The system can also handle fixed-cost
package deals for patients as well as Doctor Consultation and
Scheduling, Doctor Consultancy and Time Allocation.

11. Laboratory and Registration
 
Laboratory: 
This module enables the maintenance of investigation requests by the
patient and generation of test results for the various available services,
such as
clinical pathology,
 X-ray and ultrasound tests. 
Registration:
•This module helps in registering information about patients and
handling patient’s query. Patient’s also viewing their own info. A user
ID is fixed email for each patien. This helps in implementing customer
relationship management and also maintains medical history of the
patient.

12. Appointment and Nurse Module
•Appointment: 
This module is major modules. In the globalization more country are go
ahead by their activates. Other country properly use technology for
that they are idol for all country. But we are not used Technology
properly. Appointment is badly need for every patient for
consultancy of patient. but it is kill our value able time. When we
get appointment by calling that’s not good way. But in this HMS a
patient can be managed own appointment by online.
•Nurse: 
•Death and birth rate is needed for calculate population growth rate.
A nurse can be added death and birth report in this “Hospital
Management System”.
