Caring for a
Wooden Table Top

What you need:
Soft cloth
Water
Mild dish detergent/wood-specific cleaner
Remember to first wipe it with a damp cloth before
using a dry cloth to get rid of any remaining
moisture!
Clean Your Tables Regularly
No harsh chemicals are needed!
It’s easy!

Use them when placing these items on a table:
Cups
Plates
Hot dishes
It will protect your table from scratches and damage
resulting from exposure to anything hot or cold. Also,
tablecloths can keep your table safe from any spills,
discoloration, or extraneous damage.
Place something under dishes
Use coasters, placemats, pot holders and/or tablecloth
Protect your table!

Other things to protect it from (if possible):
Heater
Fireplace
Moisture sources
Direct sunlight
Protect it from vents
Keep dining table away from heating/cooling vents
Keep it away!
Wood can swell or contract depending on the
moisture content in the air and sunlight can dry it
out. Long-term exposure to these conditions can
lead to a fading finish and cracks.
