First steps Make sure you understand what the teacher has requested Choose a topic you like ( if you need help , use the help forum or forum created for this effect ) Pick what format you are going to use for your presentation : power point , prezi , videoscribe , mp3 recording or any other . Give yourself enough time to make a good presentation !

3. Part 1: the Introduction Introduce your topic in a short description List the different sections or items you are going to present What is your aim in this presentation / what are you trying to show?

4. Part 2: Main Ideas Here is where you start developing your ideas . Present each idea or argument separately and in na organized way ; ‘ illustrate ’ your ideas with examples ; Do not plagiarize ; When quoting make sure you use proper referencing format ; You can read to help you stay focused but do it naturally ; Make sure you know how to pronounce words correctly ( if you have doubts use a dictionary or ask the teacher ) .

5. Part 3. Conclusion When you have finished presenting all the information , give your conclusion or end thoughts . Summarize what you have discussed ; Refer back to your objective in the introduction : did you successfully achieve your objective ? Add some thought continuing questions or statements ; Any challenges or difficulties in reaching your conclusion or in regarding the topic you chose ? Use a famous quote – always effective !

Part 4: Review you work Before handing in your presentation make sure you : Listen to your presentation ; Check for mistakes ; Add a title ; Add a reference list / bibliography of works and websites cited ; Are you happy with your presentation ?
