THE
GREEK
POWER OF
ATTORNEY
A presentation brought to you by
LawyersGreece.eu

The power of attorney
(POA) is a document that
grants the right to be
legally represented by a
third party.

The third party
can also be our
team of lawyers.

The POA can be used by individuals or by corporate entities.

For companies, the
POA is useful for
company registration,
signing documents,
obtaining licenses, etc.

Individuals can sign the
POA for personal
matters (property
sales, inheritance, etc.)

The Greek law prescribes 4 types of POA.

The POA must contain information on the
legal matter (or matters) to be resolved.

It must also contain the details of the donor (person
granting the POA) and the proxy (our team of lawyers).

The proxy in Greece
must provide details
on the current
Greek residential
address.
