Enterprise Click on the New button for creating a new user otherwise click on an existing user for changing any configurations of them. When opening a user form there is an option user type. By this we can specify which type of user is created. There are 3 user types in odoo - Internal User, Portal, Public
Enterprise
Enterprise Internal User Internal user is a user inside the organization and they use the system within the company. Based on their permissions they can access different modules. This user is an employee who works in the company and they can manage the internal process.
Enterprise Portal Portal users have only a limited access, such as customer or vendor portal access . They can interact with the system by portal interface and they have some accesses like order tracking, view invoices or communication with the company.
Enterprise Public Public user is actually a website user who can interact with the system through the website. They can access the public contents such as blogs, events, forums, etc. The interactions are possible through different forms like contact us. There is no login access for portal users.
Enterprise Access Rights Access rights are permissions that can be set for the individual or group of users. We can control the module accesses by using access rights. Access rights can be set separately for the records. We can allow or restrict access to some users or roles.
Enterprise
Enterprise Set Access Rights for Inventory We can check how to manage access rights of the inventory module. For that goto the inventory option inside access rights. From there we can set access rights for administrator, user or none. Administrator has full access and permissions to the inventory module. They can read, write, create and delete inventory documents. And they have access to the configurations and settings of the inventory module. Totally they have all unrestricted access to inventory related records.
Enterprise The User has restricted access. They have limited access to the inventory module , ie, they can’t access the settings and configurations of the inventory module. They only have the user access to the documents. If the access is set as None, then they did not have any access to the inventory or any other related modules.
