We can set appropriate prices for the clients. And advanced price rules will help to set prices based on different conditions. This slide will show how to manage advanced pricelists in odoo 17.

Odoo provides a pricing strategy called pricelists. We can set appropriate prices for the clients. And advanced price rules will help to set prices based on different conditions. This slide will show how to manage advanced pricelists in odoo 17.

3. Enterprise Enable Advanced price rules First enable the advance price rules option. For that goto Sales-> Configuration -> Settings and enable the Pricelists under Pricing. Then there will be two radio buttons and enable the radio button for Advanced price rules.

5. Enterprise Create Pricelists We can create new pricelists from Products -> Pricelists.

6. Enterprise When creating a new pricelist give name, currency and company. On the Configuration tab we have different options. Under AVAILABILITY we can give the country groups and this pricelist will be available for those countries. Under DISCOUNTS we can give the discount policy that means we can specify the discount should be included with the price or not.

8. Enterprise On the Price Rules tab, we can add the rules for the pricelist. For adding rules click on the add a line from the list.

9. Enterprise When creating pricelist rules there are different options. 3 price computations: Fixed Price, Discount or using Formula. Also can give conditions such as apply on all products, product category, specific product or specific product variant. Specify validity and minimum quantity to purchase.

10. Enterprise Price Computation: Fixed Price On this computation give a fixed amount for the pricelist. Then whenever the condition satisfies the order then the specified pricelist will be applied.

11. Enterprise Price Computation: Discount On this computation give a discount for the pricelist. Then whenever the condition satisfies the order then the specified pricelist will be applied.

12. Enterprise Price Computation: Formula When selecting computation as the formula then we can give additional rules. Based on: Specify base price for the condition whether sales price, cost, or other pricelist. Discount: We can apply a markup by setting a negative amount. Extra Fee: Specify the fixed amount to add or subtract (if negative amount) to the amount calculated with the discount.

13. Enterprise Rounding Method: Sets the price so that it is a multiple of this value. Rounding is applied after the discount and before the surcharge. To have prices that end in 9.99, set rounding 10, surcharge -0.01. Margins: Specify the minimum amount of margin over the base price.
