How to Manage Your Lost Opportunities in Odoo 17 CRM Enterprise
Introduction Enterpr ise Odoo 17 CRM allows us to track why we lose sales opportunities with "Lost Reasons." This helps analyze our sales process and identify areas for improvement. Here's how to configure lost reasons in Odoo 17 CRM
Enterprise First go to the CRM module and create an opportunity, so click on the new button and enter the details of the opportunity.
Enterprise If we open the opportunity, we will see that we have an option to create new quotation and new rental, we can mark it as a won or lost opportunity or enrich a lead from it.
Enterprise Now we mark the opportunity as Lost, it opens a pop up and here we need to give a specific reason why we are leaving the opportunity. We can select the lost reason and enter the closing note and click the Mark as Lost button.
Enterprise After the opportunity is marked as lost comes the Lost ribbon. Once when clicking on Lost we need to specify a lost reason.
Enterprise We cannot see lost opportunities in the pipeline, which are now in a lost state.
Enterprise We have the option to filter opportunities to view lost opportunities, for that we need to filter based on once lost.
Enterprise We have an option to restore lost opportunities. We can restore what we lost by clicking on the 'Restore' button and the opportunity will return to its original state.
Enterprise We can see the Lost Opportunities with the pipeline when we filter the opportunities by lost, if we have lost the opportunities having in different stages.
Enterprise Instead of restoring lost opportunities individually, we have the option of batch restoration. First we need to put it in list view and select all the missed opportunities and then click on unarchive button.
Enterprise We have the option to configure lost reasons. Under configuration in CRM module we have 'Lost Reason' menu. All the lost reasons we have already configured can be seen from here.
Enterprise We can configure lost reason from here and add more reasons from here by clicking New button. After entering the reason we can click on the screen and a new lost reason comes up.
Enterprise We can select the newly created lost reason from the pop-up while marking the opportunity as lost one
Enterprise Under the Group by section we have option to group the lost opportunities based on the Lost reason.
Enterprise It is also possible to schedule an activity for the lost opportunity by clicking the schedule activity icon and it opens wizard from there we can schedule activity
