How to Prepare for the GPAT Examination

What is GPAT?
❑It is a National Level entrance exam, Gratitude Pharmacy
Aptitude Test for entry into M.Pharm Programs.
❑Previously, It was conducted by the NTA (National Testing
Agency).
❑But from 2024, It is conducted by the National Board of
Examinations in Medical Sciences(NBEMS).

➢Conducted By: National Board of Examinations in Medical
Sciences(NBEMS).
➢Exam Level: National
➢Eligibility: B . Pharm (3 Year) / B.Pharm( IV Year)
➢Attempts: No Limit
➢Validity:3 Years
➢Syllabus: B.Pharm
➢Validity of Score Card:3 Years
➢Stipend:12400/Month

Pattern of Exam
Online mode(Computer based test) in English language
GPAT exam consists of 125 MCQs
Duration:3 Hrs
Total Marks:500
Four marks are awarded for each correct answer
For every wrong answer ,1 mark is deducted

Changes in Exam Pattern
(GPAT 2024)
➢The Question Paper will be divided into multiple time bound Sections(5
Sections: A,B, C,D,E )
➢Each Section will have 25 questions and 36 minutes allotted for
each section.
➢Candidates would be restricted from proceeding to the next section
only after completion of the allotted time of the previous section.
➢Candidates would not be allotted to review the questions/modify the
responses of the section after the completion of the allotted time of that
section.
➢Questions of the next section will start automatically after the
completion of the allotted time of the previous section.
