We know, the Signature module in Odoo allows the users to capture and manage electronic signatures. This is particularly useful for signing documents such as sales orders, delivery orders, purchase orders, contracts, and other important documents within the Odoo ecosystem.

2. Introduction Enterprise We know, the Signature module in Odoo allows the users to capture and manage electronic signatures. This is particularly useful for signing documents such as sales orders, delivery orders, purchase orders, contracts, and other important documents within the Odoo ecosystem. In Odoo 17, signing delivery orders can help confirm and authenticate the receipt of goods, ensuring that the delivery process is documented and verified.

3. Enterprise To use the feature of signing on delivery orders, go to Inventory module and enable Signature from Shipping tab of the Configuration settings Enable that and click on SAVE button on top

4. Enterprise Now, go to Sales module and create a Sale order with relevant customer and product details and confirm it.

5. Enterprise Now, go to the corresponding Delivery by clicking on the top smart button marked. We can see like After the ‘Validate’ button, there we can see a new button named ‘Sign’.

6. Enterprise After giving the desired quantity and validation, click on that Sign button to load a wizard like We can use the sign button button even before the validation.

7. Enterprise There are three ways in which the user can add the signature . They are Auto This method allows users to generate a signature automatically based on their name. This method is quick and ensures a consistent signature style. Draw This method allows users to manually draw their signature using a mouse, stylus, or touch screen. This method provides a personalized and unique signature. Load This method allows users to upload an image of their signature. This method is useful if the user prefers to use a pre-existing digital signature.

8. Enterprise Let’s try the Auto method. Select Auto from the top. Then we can see the auto generated sign as the below image, Then click on Adopt & Sign button from underneath.

9. Enterprise For the second method, s elect Draw from the top. Draw with your mouse to generate sign as the below image, Then click on Adopt & Sign button from underneath.

10. Enterprise To load a preset signature , select Load from the top and select the file from the local disk. Then click on Adopt & Sign button from underneath.

11. Enterprise Whatever the method we choose, once they are signed, Odoo automatically attaches that to the chatter of the delivery record with the signed delivery note
