2. HUB A network hub is designed to connect computers to each other with no real understanding of what it is transferring . Typically, a network hub is used for a private network, one that does not have any connections to sources other than local computers (meaning, no Internet access). When a hub receives a  Packet of data from a connected device, it  broadcast that data packet to all other connected devices regardless of which one ends up being the final destination

3. Advantages of Hub Hub is less expensive product . it is used for connect the multiple devices.

4. Disadvantages of Hub It will broadcast to all the ports. It runs half duplex. If 10 Ports in a hub it will share bandwidth of 100 MbPs , So each port share 10 Mbps. A hub has minimum 4 ports and cannot accommodate for big  Networks
