3. If you notice with me, we can see numbers from 1 to 9 are (one number) (one digit) So, we call them ones

4. And we can refer to this sample as ones 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

5. And what about the red numbers? They are (two numbers) and they must have a ten like 1 1 = 10 + 1 , 1 2 = 10 + 2 , 20 = 10 + 10 …… So we call them tens That’s why we colored this 1 1 Tens Ones

6. And we can refer to this sample as tens 11=10+1 15=10+5 20=10+10

7. What about the blue numbers? They are (three numbers) and they must have a hundred Like 1 1 1 = 100 + 10 + 1 1 1 2 = 100 + 10 + 2 1 20 = 100 + 10 + 10 So we call them hundreds That’s why we colored this 1 2 1 Hundred Tens O nes

8. And we can refer to this sample as hundreds 125=100+10+10+5
