At Huxley Engineering we recognise how important it is to conduct
business in an ethical way, which is why we’ve implemented a Corporate
Social Responsibility programme focusing on the Community and the
Environment.
Community
We contribute to the communities we work in a number of constructive
ways. Firstly, we encourage our staff to get involved in a charity of their
choice by giving them extra paid days off each year for voluntary work.
We’re proud supporters of the SOS Children’s V illages charity and
sponsors of the Universities of Birmingham and Manchester. Where
possible we donate our old IT and office equipment to local communities
and groups which helps both them and the environment.
Environment
We’re committed to reducing our impact on the environment and
continually monitor our carbon footprint with a view to improving
it. All our offices have recycling facilities to reduce waste and video
conferencing equipment to minimise unnecessary travel. We invest in
carbon offsetting programmes; our computers are set to switch off at
night and we always select the most fuel-efficient cars for our fleet.
