HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY Dr. Abhinav dubey Professor Dpt. Of oralmaxillofacial surgery Aesthetic Medicine specialist (Germany)

HYPERBARIC CHAMBER A hyperbaric chamber is a health care product for hyperbaric oxygen therapy. It consists of a chamber cover, control unit (oxygen concentrator and air compressor in one control unit), oxygen headset, pressure gauge, cooler, etc. Hyperbaric oxygen treatment combines breathing under increased ambient pressure with inspired oxygen concentration to considerably boost blood oxygen levels. The body may then provide oxygenated blood to areas that were previously depleted of oxygen.

Types of health problems treated with hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT): Carbon monoxide Infection poisoning in a bone Decompression sickness Flesh-eating disease Air bubble trapped in a blood vessel

Sitting Type Soft Hyperbaric Chamber L L-size Sitting type portable hyperbaric chambers provide folding chairs for people to sit. These chambers are designed for people who feel uncomfortable when they lay down to do the HBOT.

2.0ATA Lying Type Hyperbaric Chamber The principle of the micro-hyperbaric oxygen chamber is to increase the intake of oxygen in the body by providing a high concentration of pure oxygen and a hyperbaric oxygen therapy typically is performed as an outpatient procedure but also can be provided while you are hospitalized. In general, there are two types of hyperbaric oxygen chambers:

A unit designed for one person. In an individual unit, you lie down on a table that slides into a clear plastic chamber. This is known as amonoplace unit.

2. A room designed to accommodate several people. A multiperson hyperbaric oxygen room usually looks like a large hospital room. You may sit or lie down during treatment. You may receive oxygen through a mask over your face or a lightweight, clear hood placed over your head.

Hard Hyperbaric Chamber A hard hyperbaric chamber a kind of chamber that has a fixed size and is a specialized medical device designed to create a high-pressure environment to treat various medical conditions. Unlike a soft hyperbaric chamber, which is made of flexible material, a hard hyperbaric chamber is made of a rigid, durable material such as steel or aluminum. The hard shell hyperbaric chamber is steel-enclosed so it has better leakproofness. It can deliver 93%$3% oxygen in atmospheric pressures above 1.5 ATA environment.

Lying Type Hard Hyperbaric Chamber A hyperbaric chamber combines breathing under elevated ambient pressure with inspired oxygen concentration to significantly increase the blood oxygen level. The body can then deliver oxygenated blood to tissues that were previously deficient in oxygen. The All-in-one control system provides one-button control, which is intelligent, easy-handling and convenient to operate. One person enjoys relaxation time without being disturbed.

Multiplace Hard Type Hyperbaric Chamber Product Features Three-in-one control unit that combines oxygen concentrator, air compressor, and cooler dryer, has one-click operation function Plasma disinfection(high efficiency and low consumption) | Provide internal/external large LCD screen, allow you to operate the equipment by yourself. Easy to control the device inside the chamber. Multiple safety control Timing Function (Make sure the security of oxygen session) | Automatic decompression (balance pressure in chamber) Manual decompression for acceleration. (For emergency) Regulate oxygen flow (Regulate oxygen flow at any time in your oxygen session) | * LCD screen, easy to operate • Oxygen concentration detection in chamber

Results To benefit from hyperbaric oxygen therapy, you'll likely need more than one session. The number of sessions depends upon your medical condition. Some conditions, such as carbon monoxide poisoning, might be treated in three visits. Others, such as nonhealing wounds, may require 40 treatments or more. To effectively treat approved medical conditions, hyperbaric oxygen therapy is usually part of a broad treatment plan. This plan may include other therapies and medicines that are designed to fit your unique needs.
