HEADLINE CHANGES Change in syllabus title and codes Modernized subject content, including more themes about new technology and sustainability Added a list of accounting formula and ratios Given greater clarity to Assessment Objectives (AOs) An introductory explanation for each topic has been added.
AIM FOR CHANGE IN CONTENT Aims: Reworded for clarity and to inspire further study in Business Explanation: This means that the aims of the syllabus have been rewritten in simpler and clearer language so that students, teachers, and examiners can easily understand them. The revised wording is also designed to motivate learners to continue studying Business beyond this level — for example, moving into A Levels, university, or professional courses.

WHAT HAS CHANGED IN AO’S
LET’S SIMPLIFY In short: Clearer objectives (focus on critical thinking). Paper 1 = fewer parts per question, but same total marks. Paper 2 = part (a) now always tests application, but marking hasn’t really changed much.
