What Is bhagavad - G ita? The Bhagavad Gita is an ancient Hindu scripture that is part of the epic  Mahabharata . Meaning "Song of God" in Sanskrit, it is a philosophical dialogue between the warrior-prince Arjuna and his divine charioteer, Lord Krishna.
