INTRODUCTION: Tawi-Tawi Police Provincial Office (TTPPO) as one of the Provincial office of the Police Regional Office in Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (PRO BAR) is located at the southernmost part of the Philippine archipelago. Tawi-Tawi has been consider as the most peaceful province in the entire Bangsomoro Autonomous Region and it is resonates with the crime index of Tawi-Tawi compared to other provinces of Bangsamoro Autonomous Region. Maintaining the peace and order and ensuring public safety of the province has been the mandate of the Philippine National Police, the Tawi-Tawi Police Provincial Office (TTPPO) particularly. In order to execute this mandate, Logistical resources plays a vital role in attaining the peace and order, public safety and security.

3. However, due to Tawi-Tawi’s geographical lay-out, it is a the least prioritized in terms of issuances of the logistical resources. Therefore, this study aims to assess the importance of PNP logistical capabilities in terms of the following areas of concern : RESPONSIVENESS TO CRIMES AND INSURGENCY EFFECTIVENESS AND EFFICIENCY IN LAW ENFORCEMENT OPERATION

4. It is also aim to identify the logistical challenges that the province facing and focuses on the mobility and Search and Rescue Equipment (SAR). This study will help the National headquarters in addressing the logistical concerns of the PNP in the far-flung provinces likewise it will be also a window for the Local Executives as partners of the PNP in attaining a peaceful place to live, work and do business.

RELATED LITERATURE: Philippine National police mandated to enforce the law and ordinance relative to the protection of lives and properties and to maintain peace and order and take all necessary steps to ensure public safety. (Sec. 24, RA 6975). Given the Pivotal role, the law enforcement agency has to have an adequate and accurate equipment in addressing issues in a certain community. The Department of Logistics is the one responsible for the procurement, distribution and management of all logistical requirements of the PNP

8. TAKE AWAYS/ CONCLUSIONS: Logistical resources in law enforcement operations plays a pivotal role, from the crime prevention to crime solution of the Tawi-Tawi Police Provincial Office. Issuance of accurate and adequate equipment to our PNP units regarless of their geographical lay-out must be in accordance with their Operational need assessment in order to effectively, and efficiently attain the mandate of the PNP to enforce the law, prevent and control crime and ensure public safety.

9. RECOMMENDATIONS: The head of the PNP units of Tawi-Tawi must identify the equipment needed by their unit and must be included in their annual Operational Need A ssessment report and Project Procurement Management Plan (PPMP) for submission to higher headquarters. Coordination with the local executives and other private entities for possible donations of equipment. To conduct preventive maintenance on the issued equipment to ensure the serviceability and prolong the service life.
