Summary This play divided into 3 acts. Each has 2 part. Our 1st act starting as Algernon Moncrief plays the piano in his Fashionable London Flat. his butler lane prepared tea service for his aunt (lady Bracknell). Surprisingly lane announced arrival of Mr. Earnest Worthing was a friend of Algernon. Jack inform to Algernon he is in town bcz he wants to proposed Gwendolen (algernon’s aunts daughter). Algernon confronts Jack about his double life, revealing a cigarette case inscribed by Cecily. First jack doesn’t agree with him later on algernon says about cigarette case and he also awarded about his double life than after he says about cecily. Algernon’s suspicion that his friend is a practiced “ Bunburyist ,” or a person who uses deception to shirk his duties.
Summary When Gwendolen, Jack’s love interest, arrives with her mother, Lady Bracknell, Jack proposes to her. Gwendolen loves the name "Ernest," but when Lady Bracknell learns Jack was found in a handbag as a baby, she forbids the marriage. Algernon, intrigued by Cecily, decides to visit her. At Jack's country estate, Algernon pretends to be "Ernest" and proposes to Cecily, who has long fantasized about marrying a man named "Ernest." When Gwendolen arrives, both women realize they've been deceived by the men, who then agree to be christened as "Ernest." In the final act, it’s revealed that Jack is actually Algernon’s brother and that his real name is, in fact, Ernest, fulfilling Gwendolen’s wish. Both couples are happily engaged, and Jack learns the importance of his name.
